As my studies shifted from the familiar air-to-air arena to air-to-ground, I noticed the lack of appropriate tools for planning low-level navigation and attack. So I made a simple one.
Most of the features included at launch are mentioned in this video.

Navigation-related articles:
At the moment of launching these tools, almost no air-to-ground and navigation topics have been discussed on this website. My book/manual contains, instead, multiple chapters dedicated to a wide variety of subjects: from wind effect to dead reckoning, to 9-line CAS briefings and killboxes.
You can download a copy of the book from this page.

Google Spreadsheet and GIMP have some advantages, such as the collaborative nature of Google Docs, and both are free, cross-platform products. I am still looking for an alternative to Google (preferably EU/Commonwealth based), given the current geopolitical climate.
The tools I made can be fairly easily incorporated into an ad hoc tool. Unfortunately, besides lacking spare time, I am too rusty in most web-related markup and scripting languages. I am happy to help whoever wants to work on this, as long as the result is then released freely to the community.
