Yesterday, I posted a short video and article to ask you guys for help with the radar simulation and operation of the JF-17’s KLJ-7. Besides the points I did not understand (and about which I received some really great answers, so thanks, everyone!), I had one complaint: the lack of a complete English manual.
A fantastic article discussing points relevant to the 4-ship planning and employment, from TACAN management to sort, radios, merge and more.
Another extremely interesting article I came across while researching and studying. This time, the topic is very familiar even to us flight sim players: how many missiles should we shoot during an engagement?
Whilst studying documents about the F-4 Phantom II in the air-to-air role, I came across this short article, written in 1970 by the then Major Don James. The topic is the new, back then, and exciting evolution of the navigator role in the Phantom and the F-111 Aardvark.
A ready-to-use mission to practice various engagements, GCI and no-lockon intercepts in primis.
